Monday- Fend for yourself day. I'm happy that with the boys being teenagers, I am able to give them certain responsibilities. Preparing their own food is one of them. Sure, we have had a few mishaps along the way- metal in the microwave, burned food, and overflowing pots of water, explosions in the microwave (don't ask). Those mishaps were learning experiences. :)
Tuesday- Chicken tacos. I found a recipe on Pinterest for crockpot chicken tacos, so I'm going to give it a try.
Wednesday- Leftovers (We really need to clean out the fridge!)
Thursday- Hamburger Helper. Yes, I know this isn't a very healthy option, but the boys have been asking for it, so I'm adding it to this week's menu.
Friday- Homemade pizza night. I love when we do this! Everyone makes their own personal-sized pizza. I'm thinking of trying a white pizza with pepperoni and pineapple. What do you think?
I'm drawing a blank for those two days. Any suggestions?
