Mad Science Birthday Party

My baby turns 10 tomorrow. Sigh. I cannot believe that the milestone double-digit birthday is here already! It seems like not that long ago I was kissing his sweet face goodbye on the first day of preschool. Now, he is going to be going to fifth grade in the fall. Double sigh.

This afternoon, Ian and twelve good friends celebrated his birthday with a Mad Science party. Very cool! A scientist came to the house and for an hour, he performed some totally awesome experiments! The kids seemed to have a lot of fun. They especially liked anything that included the dry ice. :)

I loved the giggles, smiles, and wonderment in their faces as they listened to the scientist explain the science behind the coolness. :)

Here are some of my favorite pics from today (I didn't include any of Ian's friends since I don't have permission to post them.):

Tonight, three of the friends came back to spend the night. Currently, the boys are in the hot tub. :)

Life is good.
